Church is back, but not as we know it

Due to COVID 19, we have had to change how we do Church. Typically in Drumachose we have met every Sunday at 8.30am for Holy Communion, then 11.30am and also at 6pm. We also met on Thursdays for Midweek Communion.

What happens now?

We meet only once per week on Sunday at 11am.

Baptisms and Confirmations are not currently being conducted, however weddings and funerals can be arranged in consultation with the Rector.

On arrival at the front door you will be asked to Wait until Welcomed by a Vestry member.
You will be asked to register your name and contact number.
Hand Wipes will be provided.
The wearing of a Face Mask is not compulsory, but a supply of ‘one use only’ masks will be available at the porch and can be discarded on exiting in the bin provided.
You will be Walked to your pew, filling from the front to the rear pews.
Exiting will be by the side door only.
Hand sanitisers, tissues and wipes will be provided at the entrance and exit.
Shaking hands is not permitted.
The Choir Vestry has been designated our ‘Emergency Room.’
Only one toilet will be in use for emergencies.

Not everyone will be able to attend our Church service, you may not feel comfortable being in a crowd, perhaps you are still shielding, or maybe there are other reasons you are unable to join us.

Alongside our own Recorded Church Services which you can watch, we have compiled a list of recommended Church services which you may appreciate viewing or listening to from the comfort of your own home.

The majority are on Facebook, but you do not need an account to watch them. You can also watch them when they are over. If you are not internet savvy, then BBC Radio Ulster broadcasts a Service on Sunday mornings at 10.15am.
